The Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom Memorial Wall pays tribute to our military service members and civilians who have given their life for their country.

We also offer virtual "Dog Tags" upon request for use on your personal tribute web pages. To get one for your hero, just with the casualty's name, rank, branch of service and information, if the information is not already provided here. We would also like to post a link to your hero's tribute page so our visitors can visit and pay tribute to your hero. So send us your link also!

  Died August 29, 2004 as result of enemy action near Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK.

  One of six airmen who died on March 23, 2003 in a HH-60 Pave Hawk accident in Afghanistan. She was assigned to the 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody AFB, GA.
• Argel, Derek CPT, 28, Lompoc, CA (543-05)
  One of four airmen who died on May 30, 2005 in the crash of an Iraqi air force aircraft during a training mission in eastern Diyala province. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Auchman, Steven E. MSGT, 37, Waterloo, NY (1125-04)
  Died November 9, 2004 from injuries received when multiple rocket propelled grenades struck his location in Mosul, Iraq. He was assigned to the 5th Air Support Operations Squadron, Fort Lewis, WA.
• Ayala, Alejandro SSGT, 26, Riverside, CA (1332-07)
  Died November 18, 2007 of injuries sustained as a result of a vehicle accident in Kuwait. He was assigned to the 90th Logistics Readiness Squadron, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, WY.
• Balmer, Ryan A. TSGT, 33, Mishawaka, IN (704-07)
  One of two airmen who died on June 5, 2007 in Kirkuk, Iraq of wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned as a Special Agent to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
• Barnes, Eric M. A1C, 20, Lorain, OH (726-07)
  Died on June 9, 2007 of wounds suffered as result of an improvised explosive device attack on an Air Force convoy about 100 miles south of Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 90th Logistics Readiness Squadron, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, WY.
• Boria, John J. CPT, 29, Broken Arrow, OK (869-04)
  Died on September 6, 2004 from injuries he received in an all terrain vehicle accident in Doha, Qatar. He was assigned to the 911th Air Refueling Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND.
• Brown, Bruce E. TSGT, 32, Coatopa, AL (769-03)
  Died September 4, 2003 as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Al Udeid, Qatar. He was a fuels supervisor assigned to the 78th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, GA.
• Chapman, John A. TSGT, 36, Waco, TX (101-02)
  One of two airmen, four Soldiers, and one sailor who died on March 4, 2002 of unspecified injuries during Operation Anaconda. He was assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, NC.
• Chavis, Leebenard E. A1C, 21, Hampton, VA (1036-06)
  Died on October 14, 2006 while performing duties as a turret gunner with the Iraqi police in the vicinity of Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 824th Security Forces Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, GA.
• Clemmons, Brad A. MSGT, 37, Chillicothe, OH (801-06)
  Died on August 21, 2006 when an improvised explosive device struck his vehicle. The vehicle was part of a transportation convoy enroute to Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 354th Civil Engineer Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, AK.
• Corlew, Sean M. TSGT, 37, Thousand Oaks, CA (303-02)
  One of two airmen and one Soldier who died on June 12, 2002 when his MC-130H crashed in the Paktika province of Afghanistan. He was assigned to the Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Crate, Casey SSGT, 26, Spanaway, WA (543-05)
  One of four airmen who died on May 30, 2005 in the crash of an Iraqi air force aircraft during a training mission in eastern Diyala province. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Crowell, Thomas A. MSGT, 36, Neosho, MO (1275-07)
  One of two airmen and one DAF civilian who died November 1, 2007 near Balad Air Base, Iraq of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was assigned as a special agent to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
• Cunningham, Jason D. SRA, 26, Camarillo, CA (101-02)
  One of two airmen, four Soldiers, and one sailor who died on March 4, 2002 of unspecified injuries during Operation Anaconda. He was assigned to the 38th Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, GA.
• Das, Eric B. CPT, 30, Amarillo, TX (257-03)
  Died on April 7, 2003 when the F-15E he was piloting went down during a combat mission in Iraq. He was assigned to the 333rd Fighter Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC.
• Dively, Duane W. MAJ, 43, Rancho California, CA (638-05)
  Died on June 22, 2005 in the crash of a U-2 aircraft when returning to his base after flying a mission in Southwest Asia. He was assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, CA.
• Downs, William MAJ, 40, Winchester, VA (543-05)
  One of four airmen who died on May 30, 2005 in the crash of an Iraqi air force aircraft during a training mission in eastern Diyala province. He was assigned to the 6th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Duffman, Scott E. TSGT, 32, Albuquerque, NM (191-07)
  Died on February 18, 2007 in eastern Afghanistan of injuries received when the coalition CH-47 helicopter he was riding in crashed. He was assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, NC.
• Eischen, Nicholas D. SRA, 24, Sanger, CA (1435-07)
  Died on December 24, 2007 in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 60th Medical Operations Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, CA.
• Espaillat, Jr., Pedro I. SRA, 20, Columbia, TN (463-04)
  Died on May 15, 2004 as a result of non-hostile injuries in Kirkuk, Iraq. He was assigned to the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC.
• Evans, Kermit O. CPT, 31, Hollandale, MS (1232-06)
  Died on December 3, 2006 from wounds sustained when the CH-46 helicopter he was riding in made an emergency water landing in western Al Anbar Province. He was assigned to the 27th Civil Engineer Squadron, Cannon Air Force Base, NM and was deployed with the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Balad Air Base, Iraq.

  Died on June 11, 2007 of wounds suffered during an unspecified incident at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. He was assigned to the 622nd Aeromedical Staging Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, GA.
• Frazier, Jacob L. SSGT (ANG), 24, St. Charles, IL (172-03)
  Died on March 29, 2003 from wounds sustained during an ambush in Geresk, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 169th Air Support Operations Squadron, 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL.
• Fresques, Jeremy CPT, 26, Clarkdale, AZ (543-05)
  One of four airmen who died on May 30, 2005 in the crash of an Iraqi air force aircraft during a training mission in eastern Diyala province. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Gilbert, Troy L. MAJ, 34, Litchfield Park, AZ (1225-06)
  Died on November 27, 2006 from wounds sustained when his F-16C fighter crashed 20 miles northwest of Baghdad, Iraq. He was previously carried as "Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown," awaiting positive DNA identification of remains from the crash site. He was assigned to the 309th Fighter Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ.
• Gillespie, Randy J. MSGT, 44, Coaldale, CO (865-07)
  Died on July 9, 2007 in Herat, Afghanistan of wounds suffered during small arms fire outside of Camp Stone. He was assigned to the 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ.
• Good, Alecia S. SRA, 23, Broadview Heights, OH (147-06)
  One of two airmen and eight marines who died February 17, 2006 when two CH-53 helicopters crashed into the Gulf of Aden in the vicinity of Ras Siyyan, northern Djibouti, while flying a training mission in the Godoria Range area. She was assigned to the 92nd Communications Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, WA and was deployed to Djibouti as part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
• Griffin, Jr., Patrick Lee SSGT, 31, Elgin, SC (326-03)
  Died on May 13, 2003 when his convoy was ambushed enroute to Baghdad near Diwaniyah, Iraq. He was a data systems technician assigned to the 728th Air Control Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
• Hicks, Jason SSGT, 25, Jefferson, SC (144-03)
  One of six airmen who died on March 23, 2003 in a HH-60 Pave Hawk accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody AFB, GA.
• Holt, Antoine J. A1C, 20, Kennesaw, GA (300-04)
  Died on April 10, 2004 as a result of injuries sustained when his tent was hit by a mortar round at Balad Air Field, Iraq. He was assigned to the 603rd Air Control Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy. The dog tag below was made at the request of A1C Holt's mother, Courtney Garmon.

  Died on September 28, 2005 near Camp Bucca, Iraq when an improvised explosive device detonated near her convoy vehicle. She was assigned to the 17th Security Forces Squadron, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas.
• Kerwood, William J. TSGT, 37, Houston, MO (895-03)
  One of four airmen who died on November 23, 2003 in a MH-53M helicopter accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 20th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Kuglics, Matthew J. SSGT, 25, North Canton, OH (704-07)
  One of two airmen who died on June 5, 2007 in Kirkuk, Iraq of wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned as a Special Agent to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
• Kuhlmeier, Daniel J. DAF Civilian, 30, Omaha, NE (155-06)
  Died on February 20, 2006 in Baghdad, Iraq when the convoy he was traveling in was struck by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to Detachment 204, 2nd Field Investigations Region, Offutt Air Force Base, NE.
• Link, Joey D. TSGT, 29, Portland, TN (969-07)
  Died on August 5, 2007 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landsuthl, Germany of natural causes. He was assigned to the 39th Airlift Squadron, Dyess Air Force Base, TX.
• Loncki, Elizabeth A. SRA, 23, New Castle, DE (015-07)
  One of three airmen who died on January 7, 2007 of injuries suffered from a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device while performing duties in Baghdad. She was assigned to 775th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hill Air Force Base, UT.
• Losano, Raymond A1C, 24, Del Rio, TX (283-03)
  Died on April 28, 2003 of unspecified wounds received in Afghanistan on April 25, 2003. He was a tactical air command and control specialist assigned to the 14th Air Support Operation Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, NC.
• Magnani, Patrick D. MSGT, 38, Martinez, CA (1080-07)
  Died on September 4, 2007 in a non-combat related incident near Bagram, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 31st Medical Support Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
• Maltz, Michael MSGT, 42, St. Petersburg, FL (144-03)
  One of six airmen who died on March 23, 2003 in a HH-60 Pave Hawk accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody AFB, GA.
• Mariano, Jude C. MSGT, 39, Vallejo, CA (099-04)
  Died on February 10, 2004 in Doha, Qatar from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was assigned to the 615th Air Mobility Operations Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, CA.
• McDaniel, II, William L. MSGT, 29, Greeneville, OH (085-02)
  One of two airmen, and eight Soldiers, who died on February 21, 2002 in a MH-47 aircraft crash at sea in the southern Philippines. He was assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group, Kadena Air Base, Japan.
• McElroy, Brian SSGT, 28, San Antonio, TX (064-06)
  One of two airmen who were killed on January 22, 2006 when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while conducting convoy escort duties in the vicinity of Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Security Forces Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK.
• Melendez-Sanchez, Luis M. SSGT, 33, Bayamon, Puerto Rico (147-06)

  Died on June 23, 2007 in Iraq of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle while on patrol. He was assigned to the 48th Security Forces Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, England.
• Newman, William N. SRA, 23, Kingston Springs, TN (723-07)
  Died on June 7, 2007 south of Balad, Iraq of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team of the 15th Civil Engineer Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, HI.

  One of two airmen who died on January 22, 2006 when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device while conducting convoy escort duties in the vicinity of Taji, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Security Forces Squadron, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK.

  One of four airmen who died on November 23, 2003 in a MH-53M helicopter accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 58th Special Operations Squadron, Kirtland Air Force Base, NM.
• Rangel, Ray SSGT, 29, San Antonio, TX (159-05)
  Died on February 13, 2005 while performing a canal rescue mission in Balad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 7th Civil Engineering Squadron, Dyess Air Force Base, TX.
• Ridout, Juan M. SSGT, 36, Maple Tree, WA (085-02)
  One of two airmen, and eight Soldiers, who died on February 21, 2002 in a MH-47 aircraft crash at sea in the southern Philippines. He was assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group, Kadena Air Base, Japan.

  Died on April 8, 2003 during unidentified combat action. He was assigned to the 24th Special Tactics Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, NC.

  One of two airmen and one DAF civilian who died November 1, 2007 near Balad Air Base, Iraq of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was assigned as a special agent to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.

  Died on May 14, 2007 of injuries suffered during enemy action near Baghdad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 314th Security Forces Squadron, Little Rock Air Force Base, AR.
• Servais, Adam P. SRA, 23, Onalaska, WI (788-06)
  Died on August 19, 2006 as a result of unspecified injuries sustained when his vehicle came under hostile fire in Uruzgan province. He was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Shero, Anissa A. SSGT, 31, Grafton, WV (303-02)
  One of two airmen and one Soldier who died on June 12, 2002 when her MC-130H crashed in the Paktika province of Afghanistan. She was assigned to the Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, FL.
• Sonnenberg, Kevin H. MAJ, 42, McClure, OH (754-07)
  Died on June 15, 2007 of wounds suffered when his jet crashed five miles north of Balad Air Base, Iraq. He was assigned to the 112th Fighter Squadron, Toledo, OH.
• Stein, John LT COL, 39, Bardolph, IL (144-03)
  One of six airmen who died on March 23, 2003 in a HH-60 Pave Hawk accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, GA.
• Stone, Gregory MAJ (ANG), 40, Boise, ID (157-03)
  Died on March 25, 2003 from wounds he received during a grenade explosion in a tent at Camp Pennsylvania, Kuwait on March 22, 2003. He was assigned to the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron, Idaho Air National Guard, Boise, ID.

  One of six airmen who died on March 23, 2003 in a HH-60 Pave Hawk accident in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 41st Rescue Squadron, Moody AFB, GA.
• Ulbright, Rick A. DAF Civilian, 49, Waldorf, MD (771-04)
  Died August 8, 2004 at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq, from wounds received during a mortar attack. He was assigned to the 33rd Field Investigative Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base, MD.
