"I Care" written and contributed by Alice Long
You lie there on your bunk
And you're miles away from home
You suddenly realize
How much you feel alone
Mail call rolls around
But there is nothing there for you
So you go back to your bunk
Empty handed and feeling blue
Day in and day out
The scene is always the same
But today will be different
Because you hear them call your name
It's a letter from a stranger
Someone you've yet to meet
You wouldn't even know them
If you passed on the street
You start to read the letter
That came from out of no where
And your face lights up with joy
As you read these two words.....
I CARE!!
