Since the end of the Vietnam War well over 21,000 reports of American prisoners, missing and otherwise unaccounted for have been received by our government. Many of these reports document LIVE America Prisoners of War remaining captive throughout Southeast Asia TODAY. Fighter pilots were called upon to fly in many dangerous circumstances, and they were prepared to be wounded, killed or captured. It probably never occurred to them that they could be abandoned by the country they so proudly served.

Operation Just Cause (OJC) - is a non funded organization made up of people from around the world. These people are united in their desire to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans who were listed as missing and unaccounted during the Vietnam war and all wars. The objective of OJC is for people, like yourself, to adopt an unaccounted for American and work within the law to obtain that accounting from the governments of the United States, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba and the former USSR.
Yellow Ribbon Campaign - Dedicate a tree in your front yard to your adopted POW/KIA/MIA and mark it with the wide yellow ribbon. Get each of your neighbors to do likewise. Contact the local middle or grammar schools, nurseries and day cares and get them to dedicate a tree on their grounds. Do the same anywhere else you can think of that people get together. This is just a few ways to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Campaign. Visit the campaign page for more ideas.
Email Elected Officials - Write your Senators and Representatives. If you have to write the President, Vice President and First Lady to get an answer, then write them too. Ask them specific questions and demand specific answers. Demand to know what is being done to find our POWs/KIAs/MIAs and bring home. If you receive a "form letter", then write them again and again until you receive a "live" and human response.
Build Your POW/KIA/MIA Web Page - Build your own POW/KIA/MIA web page in honor of your adopted POW/KIA/MIA. Share it with everyone you know to help get the word out. Need help building a page?
