"Message for Our Troops in Iraq from a Vietnam Veteran" contributed by Randy Oliver on 9 December 2005.

I was a crew chief on a c-141 based out of Travis AFB, CA during Vietnam. I so loved my job.
For we knew that whatever was loaded onto that starlifter was needed by some soldier, sailor, airman or marine somewhere in the world.
We strived to have a departure reliability that was second to none.
I gave up every holiday because I knew somewhere there was another military person giving his all at that time.
I owed it to them. For our fellows in Iraq, Godspeed and be safe. We all love you here at home.
