Firestarter Pyrography - Joanne Phillips is a professionally qualified graphic designer, beginning her working life as a freelance illustrator. She then spent several years working in London as an Art Editor, designing magazines for the B.B.C, Haymarket and also the very first Big Issue. She later moved to a picturesque Essex village, where she re-established her love for drawing and painting. It was at a local craft fair that the art of pyrography was discovered. After spending time developing the technique and personal style, she now successfully sells her work both locally and internationally. Joanne gives lessons in pyrography skills and techniques.
